It helps when you deflate all the tires to 10lbs of pressure for rock crawling. I would almost label this trail as, “two trackin.” Wheres the mud? The Rubicon needs a 4″ lift & more power under the hood, 205 HP is a bit weak. I hope Chrysler beefs up the engine with the next model change. My 2004 Liberty could handle this trail, no problem.

If these guys did the trail then they handled it all. Except for the Lil Sluice there arn’t too many bypasses. Of coarse you know that, being the seasoned “wheeler” that you are, right? lol

“Seasoned”…I’ve been around the bend a few times. I just gave my opinion. No need to be condescending.

dvpennington August 17, 2009 at 5:13 pm

You mean “condescending” like “This jeep wouldn’t last 2 minutes”? You mean like that? Sounds to me your “bend” doesn’t include any trips on the Con.

Sounds to me like someone a little envious? You wouldn’t mind sharing any pics of yourself showing us that you “know how to wheel”?

Wow, your a dork, maybe you should get outside more? Go away.

ok I hate jeeps but the new jk unlimited rubicons are badass they finally got the needed wheel base that yj’s needed. I personally run an 85 toyota 4runner with 35s stock solid axles except gears and lockers and dual cases my yota is far from stock. I have pulled a lot of yj’s out with a 4banger its not how many horses you have under the hood its all about torque in 4low too much speed or hammering down too much on the skinny breaks things and leaves you walking its turtle speeds crawling people

I had to get on my girlfriends account to say a few things to some of you that just dont know anything about the con or rock crawling

cpierson22 October 13, 2009 at 1:59 am

So how hard is this trail? I have a Sahara JK Unlimited with a 2.5″ coil lift with 35s. Think I could do this one?

MtzClan November 26, 2009 at 2:44 am

colormestupid, I think you truly are stupid. What does anything you said in your comment have to do with anything? It’s not about the rig truly, it’s about the driver and what he can do with the rig he has. Keep wheeling a toyota cuz you will never know how to crawl anything else anyway!

cornered9110 December 4, 2009 at 6:33 am

you have enough room in your wheel wells for 35s with a 2.5″ lift? cool lol

dvpennington December 6, 2009 at 9:29 pm

Another pretender amongst us. Tire pressure is dependant on many factors, tire size, vehicle weight, and terrain being just a few, but you knew that, right? The “mud” is there in the spring, other wise its rock and more rocks. It is not simply a “two track”. How do you think it earned it’s reputation as the World’s Most Famous Trail?

mtman69 January 9, 2010 at 3:53 am

The trail is as hard or as easy as you want it as there are several paths on the trail

jamestaggreen January 11, 2010 at 11:11 pm

i can’t wait til i get mine when im 16 a four door with a 6speed manual

Maximile1 January 12, 2010 at 5:55 pm

why he goes there – 3:27 – without 4H on?

DallasStars248 February 24, 2010 at 10:31 pm

no you dont thats impossible

cpierson22 March 11, 2010 at 7:37 pm

What’s impossible, putting 35s on with a 2.5 Lift? You most definitely can do that on the 07 to currents. I drive it everyday like that, not a problem

hops111 May 1, 2010 at 5:42 am

beautiful trail, doesn’t seem to be any mud / swamp type areas – but I guess that can be a good thing.
