Must be nice to have the cash to do all that work in one whack. Please check out 4X4 up a waterfall to see my jeep eating Toyota at work

10 grand spent and that jeep probably never sees the dirt.

how many inches is the suspension?

Coyote14ns February 20, 2008 at 1:51 am

i have a question
with this i can lift my jeep
Front & Rear Shocks
Front & Rear Coil Springs
T-Case Spacer
Trans Linkage Bracket
Front & Rear Sway Bar Links
Front & Rear Tie Rod Brackets

and if i lift it 4 inches 35′s can fit?

Triple88a February 28, 2008 at 12:52 am

actually no. I’m sure it will see dirt. He has no reason to spend 4-5 grand on the axles if hes not gonna run it offroad.

Usually rigs that are made only for show get the lift and tires and thats it.. nothing to make it strong and hold on to the beating.

I gotta say thought, very nice job.

I hope so it would be a shame if it doesn’t.

with 4″ of lift you can fit 35s but you wil have very hard time when offroading as you will not have much space to flex however for onroad it should be fine. 4″ lift will perform better with 33s.

If you want 35s that much then go with the 4″ suspension lift and then add 1 or 2″ of body lift to gain some clearance.

I have TJ with 4″ lift and 2″ bl and fit 35s under there great.

i got 35″ on my yj with no lift, i cut out on the stock fenders for it to fit.. but im gona purchase a 4″ kit so i could do some off-roadin.. Any recomemdations?

Triple88a July 6, 2009 at 3:56 am

Not for a YJ sir, I have no experience. I would recommend you visit the JeepForum (dot) com and search around there as this question pops up every other day. I do have 1 recommendation though. Spend the extra 200 bucks and buy something good. Do it right the 1st time and save ur self the headache and the money. I know I wish i did but i didn’t listen, now i’m paying for it again.

vetteburna July 6, 2009 at 2:29 pm

do you know if rough country is a good brand??

Triple88a July 6, 2009 at 9:52 pm

I have a RC kit on my TJ.. ….It’s shit. simple as that..

Parts rusted, parts cracked, parts wore out in no time due to bad design, bushings are very crappy, ride is very rough.. Now i dont know if the yj lift is that bad but would i ever take the chance? Never again…

Omegadeity1 July 16, 2009 at 8:37 pm

for 35′s I’d see if Tera flex has designed anything for the YJ. I know they are all about the JK & the TJ. But I’d start there.

nhejosh November 30, 2009 at 5:49 pm

yes your wil want to look for tarantula 4×4 products

steven9214 December 19, 2009 at 7:32 pm

vetteburna if you want a lot of flex go with a spring over axle set up. it will give you around 3 inches of lift front and rear. and a 2-3 in body lift along with that will give you more than enough to fit 35s, along withthe cut fenders you will have a good off road vehicle

elm1013 July 30, 2010 at 3:41 pm

all those parts and guys and it does not sit leveled
