This is my dads 1979 CJ-5 Renegade. It has a AMC 360, 4 speed manual transmition, and a 354 DANA 44 Rear. The paint is the original color and the letters and lines are airbrushed with original pattern and the drawing in the back is all airbrushed also (And yes that is a JK in the back that has been murdered by bullet holes). It came stock with a 304 but sorry those LOL5.0L Engines just cant keep up with the 360-390. Jeeps are really popular in Puerto Rico and well this is the TRUE JEEP 
Would really love to see a JK keep up with it on the road 
. Anyways this is a video to show off my dads hard work. It still not 100% finished needs a few minor things but my dad is really proud of it and so am I.

HI MAN mm the motor is original ? v8 ? or are you changed? in your jeep i like a sistem sound so diferent and a cromo in fell partd especial front of the jeep is perfect detail
This Jeep is a 1979 CJ-5 and it came originally with a 304 V8. And what system are you refering to? Engine or sound? And what do you mean by cromo? By the way you can also talk to me in spanish if you like
I forgot to tell you that the engine was changed from an AMC 304 (stock) to an AMC 360. And the 360 is not stock it has some work done to it. Some people go Chevy 350 others like AMC 401. My dad likes everything kept original. 401 is still an AMC engine but they have MANY issues. The best is probably the 390 but they are hard to find. 360 are just as good as the 390 and you can push massive torque and HP from them.

Sinceramente depende que le pongas al motor. Por supuesto si es Gasolina i le pones carburador de 2 bocas gasta menos que uno de 4 o si le pones un sistema de fuel injection le da mas fuersa i el consumo es menos que de carburacion I es mas eficiente. Depende de el uso que le darias es el motor que le puedes poner. Te aconsejo porsupuesto un motor Jeep (AMC) o Dodge dependiendo el año pero puedes ponerle el que gustes.
Este motor esta hecho para pura fuersa.
Tiene un carburador 4 bocas i no gasta mucho. Bueno depende cuanto pesado seas con el pies en la gasolina. Pero nada el Jeep es bien versatil. Tengo un primo que tiene un CJ-7 con un motor 350 Chevy i el Jeep es precioso. Pronto pondre un video de su Jeep I de otros que hay aqui.

i aparte que aqui en chile es complicadisssimo encontrar un motor chevy v8 no fueron mui populares aqui … como no hay exploracion de combustibles aqui casi…
pero hay solo chevy nova

Hmm… No estoy seguro cuanto millage me da por litro. Um pero nada con lo de los motores se le puede adaptar casi lo que quieras. Porsupuesto si le pones un AMC quedaria original porque seria Jeep. Pero le puedes poner lo que sea. Pero el Jeep es bien modular i despues que tengas el dinero puedes ponerle lo que quieras.
No conosco mucho de Diesel. Pero si se que Chevy tiene un motor que corre con Bio-Diesel. I te da 25 millas por galon. Parece poco pero no lo es. No para un motor que tiene 800+ HP i sobre 1200 ponds of torque. So depende mucho la configuracion i lo que quieras hacer con el i porsupuesto… Cuanto dinero tengas i cuanto estes dispuesto a gastar.
