i’m 16 and i’m looking for a car! i’ve always wanted a jeep, i love them. so i looked at the 2009 jeep liberty & i loved it. but it’s way too much money so how much would like an old version of it be? (2004, 2005, 2006)
actually, if it’s cheaper to get a 2002 jeep liberty, then that’s okay too.

I’d find a nice used Jeep Cherokee (not the Grand Cherokee) It will have the beloved 4.0 inline six which will run 300,000+ miles. Also, It will have a solid front axle instead of the weak Independent front suspension of the Liberty. A solid front axle will give you improved off road capabilities and also be stronger to hold larger tires/lift. Long Live the XJ!!

If I were you, I’d head to http://www.kbb.com…this is the Kelly Blue Book site. Plug in your info and see what they say this vehicle would be worth.
Make sure you understand the point of view on this site. If you are buying, there’s one set of prices, and if you’re selling, there’s another, but there’s explanations as to how they got to their numbers.
Try this website.

You can look up what you want. It will tell you all you need to know.
Good luck.
To get a fair value, you have to go to:

You put in the mileage, options, zip code and conditions.
Check out Yahoo Autos, type in as much as info as you can. Very helpful sight. My nephew used it when he bought his 2006 Jeep Liberty, a vey nice vehicle. I liked it a lot, & ended up buying a 2009 Jeep Liberty!!!
