The sunroof is probably motor driven; if the motor is still able to run the fuse may be blown. If the motor “grunts” but the roof stays stationary, it may be jammed or the linkage is in a bind. And of course there is the all time favorite, the bracket used for the mechanism to open and close the roof may have been damaged and needs replacement, I had that happen once and had to seal the roof due to scarcity of parts.

I didnt know you could get one with a sun roof
