I know a jeep wrangler is an off roading geared vehicle but what about the 4 door wrangler? Recently ive gone off roading in a 07 4 door wrangler. Nothing on anything to big, just on dirt terrain with some rocks and dirt hills. Anything i should know before i start doing it more?
Wranglers are probably the most capable stock off road vehicle made, the four door models are heavier than the two doors and have a lower crossover angle, but are still very capable. Just remember that wheelin’ is hard on vehicles, so if you don’t have money for repairs, take it relatively easy.
yeah its good for off- roading, but its too new and probably too nice if you go down any tight trails kiss your nice new paint job good-bye and if you break anything you will really hate life. Nothing is worse than breaking on the trail and getting towed home or having to leave your vehicle un attended while you go get help. So, if you really like to go wheelin buy a cheap older wrangler and and go crazy!
Any Jeep Wrangler, YJ or TJ is pretty decent off road, but I have always loved the CJs for total all around awesomeness.
Great vehicle to have to go 4×4. Especially for the family. Get a 2-3 inch lift, 33×10.5 all terrains and what ever the stock rim diameter is, I forget, Lots of skid and bumper kits, winch kit and rear class 4 2" box hitch, mesh bikini top, roll pads and tons of fun
