Nice Libby, looks identical to my 2002.
I loved it but when I got a chance to swap for a 2005 with the diesel engine I couldn’t resist. The salesman liked my 02 so well, he bought it for his wife!
My diesel can get 30mpg on the highway if I stay under 60mph. Love it!
With General AT tires it can push through two feet of snow with stock suspension.

@paultobi
so are you saying that if you get a 2.5in lift, that your jeep will go bad? Or are you saying anything bigger than that is bad for it?

too large a tire and yes the rub like hell. They can only be lifted 3″ MAX (2.5″ recommended) because of the CV joints. There are custom upper control arms with angled ball joints that will last when used with a lift..All J’s has them

FLstudioKing June 26, 2010 at 5:48 am

Suspension or Body lift?

TheBrandon177 June 29, 2010 at 5:50 am

what size lift and tire do you have thanks

ManiacChaseman July 15, 2010 at 1:54 am

@MK86TRD if you go over 3” then you will definitly have problems and the recomended tire size for a 2.5 lift is about 29 or maybe 30 with trimming

samcyanide666 July 21, 2010 at 7:37 am

@paultobi Average value of a 2002 Liberty even with mods is under $12k the base price for a Nissan GTR is $80,790 so I am going to have to call major BS on the fact that you sold the liberty for anywhere near that much. Don’t get me wrong I love Jeeps I have a TJ Sport and would never sell it but you could never get that much even for an SRT-8 GC.

Accounti35 July 26, 2010 at 5:34 am

@paultobi you got 90k for your jeep??

droopynutz1 July 30, 2010 at 11:34 pm

Where does this guy say he got a new GT-R? The new R-35 isn’t even called a skyline in North America or anywhere I believe, and you can get 15 year old cars imported from where I live in Canada. You see skylines n Evo VI’s all over nowadays.
