Oh i am sorry. I could swear he said 160. That still does not leave room for a lady though. I do like this product though. I have a similar tailgate on my CJ.

What are the prices of the tailgate conversion kits for the Jeeps.

Swagoffroad May 6, 2009 at 3:33 am

$160 for the Jeep TJ or YJ tailgate conversion kit. Flat rate $10 shipping.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Neat idea. Too bad it isn’t rated to hold shit. 260 lbs. just isn’t much. Maybe I just need to lose some weight via shin removal. haha

it is way cool, but where do you put your spare tire?

Swagoffroad August 17, 2009 at 4:51 am

You need to purchase an aftermarket swing out tire carrier to carry your spare tire.

SWEET!!!!!
Hi,
Would you know how to install a hood release cable kit for a 97 Jeep Wrangler? Mine doesn’t have one but I’d like to put one in.
Thanks bunches…

TWBaltz February 23, 2010 at 2:49 am

Your tail lights, where did you get them and how much are they? Also, how difficult is the install on them?

Swagoffroad February 23, 2010 at 3:13 am

I got them from a truck stop Pilot. They cost $15 each and install with a 4″ hole saw. Do a Google search on 4″ LED tail lights it has been done a 1,000 times

bobbyp10 March 6, 2010 at 9:03 am

adamslurch71 June 14, 2010 at 6:37 pm

really, I have seen people dong this for years, and they spend maybe $20 in materials, who the hell would want to spend over $250 to get the same results.

madzyzome June 23, 2010 at 10:56 am

@Swagoffroad Measure twice, cut once. The tail lights are off.

arodgerson June 30, 2010 at 6:32 pm

Swagoffroad June 30, 2010 at 7:11 pm
