Our kits use a proprietary high density polyurethane spacer that mount with your stock springs. This eliminates the problem with most kits on the market today…. STIFF springs. Most lift companies choose the lowest bid when farming out production of their springs which means the customer oftimes gets stuck with a ride that is worse than stock. Our Budget lift series of kits avoid this headache and keeps your Jeep riding smooth and stable. Our Rocky Road brand coil spacers are also a full 2 inch
I have 5 used jeep wheels that i want to sell. There are 4 stock 15" by 7" wheels and one 15" by 7" spare wheel that i want to sell. No tire just the wheels. They are in perfect condition with no scratches or dents. How much would all 5 wheels sell for?
I drive an 03 Jeep Wrangler TJ 5 spd with 31" by 12.5" tires and stock gearing, and I go over a mountain twice every day to get to work and back home.
A sign on the road (mountain) tells me that it has a 8% grade. I asume that that is the steepest it gets.
I travel up one side in 3rd gear at 55mph at about 3000rpm for probably a little over 5 minutes, and then coming back the same thing but for almost 10 minutes.
Is this bad?
I do it because 4th cant take it and it slows going up.
I put it in 5th at the top all the way down.
Check out this video that we stole from our friends Chris and Dave. The music is metallic’s fuel. you can find the original on metallica’s site. www.youtube.com This video showes the evolution of a stock(ish) 98 cherokee (the facia is off an 87) check out my video “darwin in the woods” to see what the jeep looks like today. www.youtube.com It’s lost the rear roof, but gained a full frame and one ton axles. Also checkout Playing in the mud for more video. A few Jeeps were harmed during the making of this video…
I’m putting 35×12.50 mud tires on my 2002 wrangler. Does it need to be regeared to push the larger tires? The jeep is a 5 speed with a 4.0L inline 6 motor.
its got california emissions setup wthh 2 cats one small one on downpipe if i were to replace the stock downpipe with one with no small cat on it along with new headers cat muffler and tailpipe whoud it cause me any problems as far as sensors or back pressure? and would doing this increase flow?
