I have 235-75-15 tires now on my jeep with factory rims, If I put aftermarket rims 15 x 8 on my jeep what would my gas milage do if I went up to a 30 x 9.5 x 15 tire size. If anyone has these tire sizes with aggressive tread and all terrain tread and has them on a jeep wrangler and could let me know what the gas milage is I would appreciate it alot.

I am wanting to buy this jeep wrangler, and it has a new paint job and new tires and it’s 00, but it has 98,000 miles on it. The only other jeep in town that I am interested in is ,000 miles on it and it has 30,000 miles on it. But it is really worth the extra ,000?
any by the way, it’s a 1997 jeep wrangler
I drive an 03 Jeep Wrangler TJ 5 spd with 31" by 12.5" tires and stock gearing, and I go over a mountain twice every day to get to work and back home.
A sign on the road (mountain) tells me that it has a 8% grade. I asume that that is the steepest it gets.
I travel up one side in 3rd gear at 55mph at about 3000rpm for probably a little over 5 minutes, and then coming back the same thing but for almost 10 minutes.
Is this bad?
I do it because 4th cant take it and it slows going up.
I put it in 5th at the top all the way down.

I’m putting 35×12.50 mud tires on my 2002 wrangler. Does it need to be regeared to push the larger tires? The jeep is a 5 speed with a 4.0L inline 6 motor.
